{"id":47674,"date":"2024-10-16T14:08:29","date_gmt":"2024-10-16T19:08:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/?p=47674"},"modified":"2024-10-17T09:28:15","modified_gmt":"2024-10-17T14:28:15","slug":"aloha-rtag-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/2024\/10\/16\/aloha-rtag-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Aloha RTAG 2024!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this month, Envoy Air Operations recruiters attended the 2024\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtag.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Rotary to Airline Group (RTAG)<\/a>\u00a0National Convention in Fort Worth, Texas. \u00a0Along with being a Gold sponsor of this year\u2019s convention, Envoy also participated in breakout sessions with aviation professionals, awarded two scholarships and supported three Envoy Captains in receiving Conditional Job Offers (CJOs) with American Airlines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy sharing our company\u2019s mission at events like this, we not only raise awareness but also honor our veterans by providing them the support they deserve as they transition into new careers,\u201d said Envoy Air Operations Recruitment Manager\u00a0<strong>Kipp Swannie<\/strong>. \u201cTogether, we can make pathways to success for those who have served.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-47678 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/IMG_2024_RTAG-21-scaled-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"422\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To close out the first night of the convention, Envoy recruiters put on their best Hawaiian shirts to attend the luau-themed scholarship party. During the event, Envoy awarded scholarships to RTAG members\u00a0<strong>Eric Edwards<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Chris Howell<\/strong>, recognizing their dedication and commitment to advancing their careers in commercial aviation. This moment celebrated their hard work, and gave Envoy recruiters a chance to show the Company\u2019s ongoing support for military veterans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen a scholarship winner gets onstage, I get to see the mix of emotions: surprise, thankfulness, and overwhelming gratitude,\u201d said Envoy Air Operations Recruiter\u00a0<strong>Eve-Ana Ontiveros<\/strong>.\u00a0\u201cOne of the biggest challenges for pilots is paying for their training. It\u2019s a great honor for us to help address this barrier. In doing so, we reaffirm their original dream of flight. As they prepare for this next step, the entire Envoy team is here to support them on their journey toward a bright future at American.<\/p>\n<p>Though the RTAG Convention has been held in Fort Worth, TX for the past three years, it will be moving to Denver, CO in 2025 to further expand the reach and goals of RTAG.
