{"id":17818,"date":"2023-03-29T10:34:57","date_gmt":"2023-03-29T15:34:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/?p=17818"},"modified":"2023-03-29T10:34:57","modified_gmt":"2023-03-29T15:34:57","slug":"60-second-interview-elise-shirey-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/2023\/03\/29\/60-second-interview-elise-shirey-2\/","title":{"rendered":"60-Second Interview: Elise Shirey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"ui-provider wi b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak\" dir=\"ltr\">March is Women\u2019s History Month, and this year we wanted to share a few quick, 60-second interviews to highlight the amazing women at Envoy who work hard, inspire others and lead our airline into a successful future.<\/span> In the last interview of this month, we speak with Elise Shirey who is the Director of Air Operations Recruitment.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>What is your Envoy story?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I started my career as a Flight Attendant with Envoy, then American Eagle, in 2000 at 19 years old.&nbsp; I \u201c<em>gave up my wings<\/em>\u201d in 2017 and have been a part of Air Ops Recruitment ever since.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s the most rewarding part about your current role?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seeing people achieve their goals. Whether it&#8217;s the groups we recruit or our internal personnel, I love being able to help others find a home with Envoy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What woman has inspired you in your life and\/or career? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My oldest sister.
