All the students who attended were members of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flyingaggies.com\/\">Flying Aggies<\/a> flight club, a student organization at OSU.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-17810 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/IMG_OSU-visits-AA_March_2023_03-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>The student group was hosted by the American Airlines Cadet Academy, in partnership with Envoy&#8217;s Air Operations Recruitment team. During their visit, students got a behind-the-scenes look at American\u2019s Flight Academy, Skyview 8, Integrated Operations Center (IOC), C.R. Smith Museum, and they even got a sneak peek at American\u2019s brand-new hotel and hospitality complex, Skyview 6.<\/p>\n<p>The group had the opportunity to meet with AA Chief Operating Officer <strong>David Seymour<\/strong> and AA Vice President of Flight <strong>Russ Moore<\/strong> to hear more about the values, culture, and standards American upholds. While at the IOC, they also heard from Airbus and Boeing fleet managers, who answered questions about the aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the group heard from Envoy Pilot Recruitment Outreach Manager First Officer <strong>Austin Decker<\/strong>, who shared more information about the Envoy Cadet Program and officially welcomed new Cadet Instructor <strong>Aubrey Sills<\/strong>, who passed their interview the day prior.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a full day of previewing what the future holds for these aviation students,\u201d said First Officer <strong>Austin Decker<\/strong>. \u201cMy hope is that the students leave here today with the excitement and motivation to continue to work hard when they return to school.
