{"id":13086,"date":"2020-02-17T11:34:22","date_gmt":"2020-02-17T17:34:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/?p=13086"},"modified":"2020-02-17T11:34:22","modified_gmt":"2020-02-17T17:34:22","slug":"american-airlines-honors-envoys-distinguished-cadets-2-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/2020\/02\/17\/american-airlines-honors-envoys-distinguished-cadets-2-2\/","title":{"rendered":"American Airlines Honors Envoy\u2019s Distinguished Cadets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, Captain Chip Long, American Airlines Managing Director of Flight Line Operations and First Officer Cory Glenn, American Airlines Senior Manager of Pilot Recruiting and Development, hosted a special luncheon to honor top-performing\u00a0Cadet Pilots enrolled in an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/cadet-program\/\">AAG Cadet Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Five Envoy Cadets were selected to be honored based on feedback from their peers, recruiters and partner schools, and each received a personalized trophy as a token of appreciation. In attendance at the award luncheon was Envoy\u2019s Vice President of Flight Operations Captain Ric Wilson, as well as the Manager of Partnerships and Outreach Martin Rottler.<\/p>\n<h3>And the\u00a0awards go to\u2026<\/h3>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-13089 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.envoyair.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Distinguished-Cadets-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"Five Envoy Cadet Instructors pose in the maintenance hangar in front of an aircraft\" \/>Alex Harrigan,\u00a0Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona<\/strong> &#8211; Alex is a member of\u00a0the Alpha Omicron Alpha Aeronautical Honor Society at ERAU, and has served as the PR Chair and Vice President. He is\u00a0starting his ATP-CTP with Envoy in just a few weeks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cody Page,\u00a0ATP Flight School Phoenix<\/strong> &#8211; Cody is a Cadet known for his positive attitude.\u00a0He often\u00a0volunteers with the Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation, which gives flights in a Boeing Stearman to veterans in long-term care communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jack Sullivan,\u00a0Utah State University<\/strong> &#8211; Jack is a hardworking student who is always willing to lend a hand at recruiting events. He serves as a Flight Instructor, as well as a Fleet Service Clerk at the\u00a0Logan-Cache Airport.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erica Swenson,\u00a0Le Tourneau University<\/strong> &#8211; Erica is\u00a0captain of the Le Tourneau University Flight Team and a member of the Air Race Classic team. She is also an active member of Women in Aviation\u00a0International.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas Wolford,\u00a0University of North Dakota<\/strong> &#8211; Thomas is a member of the Aviation Student Ambassador Program and a Cadet Instructor at UND.
